First I want to welcome everyone to CSS Gem and say that this site is just a baby right now but like a baby this thing is going to grow very quickly with your help! So, send comments, rate sites, and poke around till you find something you like.

To get this out there and off my chest, this site is about showcasing great sites that are cross browser functional and valid XHTML & CSS. As well, designers must utilize W3C coding standards and just be damn beautiful to look at. With that said, amazing web site are a look into a designers mind and an extension of their abilities in which they posses. So, we believe that the individuals who convey visual communication, most only dream about, are in their own little way heroes to the web. If it wasn’t for great designers and people pushing the envelope on a daily basis we wouldn’t have some of the really amazingly built and designed web sites we have today. If this is you, and you know who you are, go get some more coffee your eyes are looking pretty tired and for god sake man take a shower.

CSS Gem is not just another gallery site on the web, we are more than that. We have a fantastic job section with fulltime and freelance job listings powered by Krop. It’s important to keep us all employed, so go take a look and maybe you will find your next dream job, tell us about it we love to hear we helped someone get their career moving forward.
